Greetings all

You may already know that I manage a thriving toy-building venture in the North Pole. The hazards are many and various. Everything from high risk plant and machinery to eye injury caused by mid air expulsion of reindeer poop!

I look forward to sound advice on hazard management and meantime, wish you all the best for 2009!

Hello
Do you realize that you only have about 5 seconds to make a positive first impression? And do you understand that the way you approach and greet someone will have a lasting impression on him or her and may set the direction for your future relationship with him or her? Well I hope you answered YES to both questions and are open to some business greeting tips from your strategic thinking business coach.

Your strategic thinking business coach offers the following tips on how to gain a strategic advantage when greeting people in a business environment.

1: Always project your professionalism.
2: Always have a positive attitude.
3: Always greet people with their name.
4: Always smile when greeting people and then continue smiling.
5: Always shake hands in a proper manner.
6: Always maintain good eye contact with the other person.
7: Always keep your focus on the other person, not on yourself.
8: Always use proper business etiquette.
9: Always exchange business cards in a respectful manner.
10: Always respect the “personal space” of the person you are greeting.
